Raymond Lam

A chok comeback

Famous for his sultry voice, his cool looks and his washboard abs, Raymond Lam is ready to return to music after a three-year break from the industry. After raising the pulses of his swooning fans in December with the release of his comeback single Heart Attack, Lam is currently finishing up a full-length album while also preparing for a three-night run at the Hong Kong Coliseum at the end of April.

Lam won the hearts of fans with an impressive career as both an actor and a singer. TVB provided him his break after spotting Lam’s talent at the 13th TVB artists training class. Featuring in countless television dramas and films led to multiple acting accolades. Lam also performed several theme songs for his numerous popular television series, and was a hot property before signing with EEG Music Plus with whom he released his 2007 debut album, Love is Finding You in Memories. The album sold more than 20,000 copies within the first week. Eight more albums have followed since, winning him more than a handful of Jade Solid Gold Top 10 Awards from 2008-10.
His most recent release, March’s Trap EP, features love songs, R&B and dance tracks in both Cantonese and Mandarin. His concert series will showcase both old and new material, reminding fans why he is one of today’s greats. Dubbed the king of ‘chok’, or the king of cool, Lam has maintained a strict fitness schedule and has plunged into intense dance and singing rehearsals in preparation for his high-energy comeback concerts. So expect high-speed choreography, heart-pumping beats, ‘chok’ ensembles, and a futuristic stage design on what should be a night to remember.
