With Le French May descending on Hong Kong this month, gourmands can look forward to an appetising selection of Gallic menus from a whole host of restaurants across town under the Le French GourMay banner. Épure, in Tsim Sha Tsui, is no exception, offering a decadent à la carte dinner made with Alsace wine as well as a five-course tasting menu where you can sample a range of delish dishes. As this year’s theme region, wine from Alsace is used in each dish. Enjoy the likes of seared duck foie gras topped with crushed hazelnuts and almonds, as well as roast cod served with a riesling wine butter sauce or slow-cooked beef cheek served with a pinot gris jus. There’s also farm Munster cheese served with mirabelle jelly, and a fab cinnamon almond tart topped with plum compote and raspberry sorbet.
